This global online competition is held six times during the academic year. On each competition day, 5 competitions are offered (free), one each from 3rd grade to his senior year. 5 and 6; 7 and 8; 9 and 10; 11th grade and her 12th grade. $12 per student per year for grades 5 through 12. Each student's placement in the Caribou Cup is determined by her top five finish in six competitions during the school year. All previous competitions are available online for free as practice tests.
This tournament aims to provide an opportunity for gifted math students looking for a rewarding experience and to meet other math enthusiasts across the country and around the world.
1) HMMT February is one of the most difficult math competitions in the United States, comfortably and confidently solve at least 6 to 8 problems correctly and write a mathematical proof on the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME)
2) HMMT November provides a more accessible alternative for students to experience math tournaments such as for those who have performed well on the AMC exam.
Math League is dedicated to providing students with challenging math materials. The Math League specializes in math competitions, books and computer software designed to inspire interest and confidence in math in students from grade 4 through her grade 12. Over 1 million students participate in Math League competitions each year.
This is a non-profit public foundation that offers prestigious math competitions for grades 4-6 and 7-8. Its goals are: Instill enthusiasm and a love of mathematics. An introduction to important mathematical concepts. Teaches key problem-solving strategies. Develop mathematical flexibility in solving problems. Strengthen your mathematical intuition. Encourages mathematical creativity and ingenuity. It brings satisfaction, joy and thrill to overcoming challenges.
Perennial Math offers two types of competitions. The first is an annual membership competition for students in grades 3-8 with different levels. A group can enroll up to 30 students, or students can register individually if their school is not participating. The competition consists of 4 monthly checks starting in November and ending in February. The second competition offered are virtual tournaments. These take place monthly and take place in the form of videoconferences. Students can register for a team award (4 members) or an individual student award.
Pi Math Contest (PiMC), is a math contest organized by AlphaStar Academy for students up to 8th grade in two divisions. PiMC is typically offered online in spring (April) as a single-round individual contest. Top scoring individuals will be recognized on the contest page and get winner certificates as well as awards.
This is a semi-annual math problem solving contest for elementary and middle school students. The goal of the competition is to encourage young students’ interest in math, to develop their problem solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math. The contest is for students in grades 2-8.
National Number Knockout (N2K) is an annual competition of computing power. N2K's goal is to improve the speed and accuracy of calculations for students across the country through easy-to-learn games. Students ages 9-14 are eligible to enter for a chance to win grand prizes and teacher awards.
